Shalom everyone, I have been away for a bit, but now I am back in the Middle East, and quite thankful that I am back in the middle east, and not in the Midwest of the USA. Don't get me wrong, I love the Midwest. I love the mountains, NOT and the West Coast. I went to my first Cardinals baseball game in 10 years. It was as if I put my spirituality and my Kabbalah allegedly aside for eight days, to go on a family visiting vacation/sabbatical. LOL
As I looked around, I saw that everything looked so beautifully illusionaryly (new word) normal. The one most beautiful attribute I realized in this city of St. Louis, Missouri, is that everyone had patients to a decent degree. Now, most people would think I'll be making an assumption in my limited simple rental car drive around, observing simple things. What I did observe, was that the speed limit was a consistent 35 miles an hour, sometimes going as high as 40. And what I saw was that everybody was patiently going the speed limit. No one was tailgating no one was honking, unless it really needed it. So, I was sitting back thinking how many people I know that would run out of patience within let's say 20 minutes (even though in reality it would take less than five), and extend the speed limits to 45 or 50 mph. And what we have here is a mobile violation of speeding waiting to happen. Why, because there are patrolmen at every third corner with their radar on, just waiting for some turkeys to come speeding by and write a quick $ 250 or more - ticket.
That is what this week's LESSON in tall is about, patients, simple patients! In Kabbalah, one of the very first rules is to make restriction. When one makes restriction it is a proof that patients has been involved! There are many perspectives we can take to help clarify the energy of this Shabbat and this total reading. The perspective I wish to address is the correlation between patients and their Hebrew word Sh'mitta, meaning sabbatical year. I am taking this perspective because this is one of the rare times that the Torah is talking strictly about the land – Mother Earth, and how to healthily maintain and sustain the healing quality of the earth as she is growing our food on HER bio- sphere.
The situation of the healing qualities has a simple protocol. The Torah says, that we should grow food for six years straight, just as we live our six days of the week. And on the seventh year/day, we should let the land lay fallow and simply rest. We all know that the land needs rest every once in a while. And we need to lie fallow once every seven days, so as to regain, or rather reiterate our strength for another year, or another week.
Now here's how it goes, as it says straight from the Torah in this week's portion, this Shabbat, Shabbat Behar, ”of all the years, the seventh is the most precious, as it says “and the seventh year you shall let rest and lie fallow (as a Sh'mitta year).”
Of the seven year cycles, the seventh is distinguished, as it says, “and you shall sanctify the 50th year”.....
(AS A YOVAIL). Vayikra 25:10. “And you shall sanctify the 50th year “ . OK, here we go,
seven represents completion there are seven heavens, there are seven worlds below us, and these seven years of this agenda, matching up with the seven seas, the seven continents, the seven colors, the seven musical keys, – for the sake of letting our Earth Mother have one year of vacation every seven, it would be considered quite respectful to return to our Earth Mother what she absolutely deserves and NEEDS, so says that all right! THE TORAH!!
Now here's where it starts to get good! The divine number seven represents completion. Completion is defined by completing a task, a promise, a deed or an oath. The Torah says, that on the sixth year you will reap a triple crop, so as to sustain you during the years of fallow, and the following year to see, so that you will have enough sustenance to get you through the seeding, and that will regenerate your stocks. So what happens, the Divine keeps their part by giving the triple crop. Now what happens, because of simple greed, the triple crop that was harvested is sold off for the money, for the gold, silver, copper, as if it was just another commodity! THIS IS GAIA WE ARE TALKING ABOUT OUR MOTHER EARTH, THE BLUE JEWEL!!!
Houston, we have a problem. THE NEXT SH,MITTA YEAR STARTS IN SEPTEMBER ON THE HOLIDAY OF ROSH HASHANA . By selling off the sustenance of the next two years there will be a problem! What is the cause of this problem!?!? IMPATIENTS! Impatience is one of the most sophisticated weapons for our negative inclination. Oh, did I leave out GREED & EGO- POWER ?!?
HAVE WE ALL NOTICED MY BELOVED STAR SEED BROTHERS AND SISTERS, THAT THINGS ARE NOT JUST QUICKENING, BUT THEY ARE GETTING MORE INTENSE! Those of us who are of the caregivers who serve and share, there is a high percentage of probability that we will be very busy as time goes on, HELPING IN THE WAKING OF our fellow star seeds through the Galactic/Cosmic decompression chamber. POINT – I'M OUT OF TIME! SHABBAT SHALOM!!!
