I mentioned in yesterday's essay about the second word in the portion being Adonai, when the word is Anochi. I will give a Blessing and a Curse. I did mention that the Energy could go either way. I do wish to elaborate and elucidate further into this portion of Re'eh.
Re'eh is a unique word in the Hebrew language. It happens to be one of the 72 names of the Divine Essence. The many meanings of the word are, to see, to feel, to look, to perceive, to observe, to notice, or to understand. After reading this list of meanings I think you will agree that it is an amazing word as an Attribute of the Divine, which is one way of understanding the 72 names of the Divine Essence. It is a powerful focusing energy to assist in one finding the right path in life.
The simple story of this portion is not that simple. Let's start with the fact that this portion includes 55 mitzvot (good deeds). 55 is a hint to us regarding the prophets's, since the Torah has 55 prophets mentioned within it. The essence of a prophet is to be able to “see” a future timeline. By following certain techniques and meditations the Kabbalah and the Torah teaches us how to become a prophet or at least develop Ruach HaKodesh, which is the end result to activating one's third eye and listening to that still quiet whisper, that thunders through your consciousness, and exposes a new way of communication through your super conscious. Our generation does have the ability to reach prophecy.
A numerical perspective is the number of verses which is 126. The sages give us a code word which means wonders or miracle. Both these words (wonder or miracle) hidden in the idea, that they must be seen to be truly appreciated or known. When one experiences a miracle themselves is quite different than when one hears about a miracle from someone else. 126 is also twice the 63 Letter Name of the Divine Light.
Also listed at the end of this portion are the three festivals that we all must come to visit to the holy Temple in Jerusalem personally, “and be sure not to come empty-handed”! These are the three festive holidays: the Passover, Shavuot, Sukkoth. Whenever the Torah mentions a festive holiday, it means the energy of that holiday is there for us at that reading of the Torah. The energy for the Passover is freedom. Freedom is an energy that needs to be seen and felt, in order to be expressed and experienced. The holiday of Shavuot is the energy of revelation, which of course must be seen. And the festival of Sukkoth is the energy of Certainty. We must see the divine essence within our own lives in order to truly understand certainty!
These three festive holidays are called Ragalim (legs) because we are told to appear in the Temple, to be seen by the divine essence during these three holidays each and every year. So that we can represent the physical connection to help bring down the fifth dimensional energy from the presence of the Divine Essence. In order to appear in the Temple, the physical thinking people tell us that the people would use their legs to walk to Jerusalem. Of course in our modern world, we know there are alternatives to walking to Jerusalem, including the concept of “mind over matter”, which allows us to just be there because we are thinking that we are there. We call this process bi-locationing, or remote sensing. This is the direction that our future is taking, if we use our free choice wisely.
The real meaning of the word “anochi” is an acronym for, I wrote down my very Soul and gave it to you. Or more poetically: My Soul is inscribed in these words that I give you. As the opening word of the 10 Commandments, Anochi clearly must carry profound significance. Kabbalah teaches us that the essence of things is always concealed in the beginning, or the first word and actually even the first letter of our words. Anochi starts with an Alef. The essence of the Letter Alef is unity and oneness
when Moses says Anochi (I), he is expressing the unity of all things. When Moses says Anochi as the Talmud explains, he is giving to us himself, which we are taught, includes all of his students. Anyone who studies (reads) the Torah is a student of Moses, and is included within the soul of Moses. For that matter, if you have the consciousness of Lord Sunanda, or Buddha, or any of the Archangels when you are reading the Torah or the Zohar, then their souls are with you. That's the simple part. All we need is the certainty and the imagination to go with it!!!
This is where our sages get the idea that there is a Moses, as well as any other righteous person, born in every generation. When we, in our generation, read the book of Psalms, or study Torah, Moses and all the others, include us within them. This is the true meaning of Unity. When we grow our consciousness to include our unconsciousness, this will become clearer to us.
Remember, when we start to speak, we are not truly conscious about choosing the words we say. We are actually playing out a movie where the script of what we say is already known. Our guides and teachers are lovingly assisting us in learning to do things based on being conscious of why we do what we do.
We as three dimensional beings, human, need to realize that the path to getting closer to the Light of the Divine, is to no longer do things at the control of something or someone from our unconscious level of mind. Eventually, we will do things from the conscious level of our mind and that is when we will call in the other 90% of our consciousness. All I wish for is what our higher selves wish for us, and for us to be able to hear the whispers that our higher selves are advising us in this sort of whispering Morse code. May we all have the merits to obtain this Morse code-code book, AMEN!
